Volleyball Recap: Carlisle's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak on the Road

After flying high against Shippensburg on Saturday, Carlisle came back down to earth. The Thundering Herd came up short against the Palmyra Cougars on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Thundering Herd were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cougars from their previous meeting back in September of 2023.

Carlisle's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-2. As for Palmyra, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Carlisle is set to square off against their familiar foe Trinity at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Palmyra will take on rival Lower Dauphin at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
