Softball Recap: St. Francis Picks Up Eighth Consecutive Victory

St. Francis waltzed into their contest on Saturday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They were the clear victors by a 12-6 margin over the Wheaton Academy Warriors. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won 14 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

St. Francis' victory bumped their record up to 22-4. As for Wheaton Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.

St. Francis didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-5 win against Glenbard South on the 2nd. Wheaton Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
