Basketball Game Preview: South Rebels vs. North Rangers

South hasn't had much luck against North recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The South Rebels will take on the North Rangers at 7:30 p.m.

On Saturday, South had to suffer through a 64-34 loss at the hands of Kenston. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for North, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They walked away with a 50-40 victory over Riverside on Saturday.

South better keep an eye on Kaitlin Dobida. She was instrumental in North's win, putting up 17 points in addition to six assists and five boards. The game was Dobida's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddy Ferrari, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds.

The win got North back to even at 9-9. As for South, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11.

South came up short against North in their previous meeting back in January, falling 49-43. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Dobida, who posted 19 points along with eight boards and six steals. Now that South knows the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? There's only one way to find out.
