First Flight is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand East Duplin a 6-0 shutout. Considering First Flight have won 15 contests by more than three goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Carrboro duked it out with Ledford on Thursday. The Jaguars walked away with a 3-1 win over the Panthers.
