Baseball Recap: Hart Takes a Loss

Hart lost against Mira Costa back in March of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Hawks fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 3-2. That's two games in a row now that the Hawks have lost by just one run.

Michael Hogen was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Hart and nudges their season record down to 14-12. Even worse, they were so close both times: the losses came by an average of only one runs. As for Mira Costa, the win (which was their 24th in a row) raised their record to 26-2.

As of now, neither Hart nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
