Baseball Recap: Midview Extends Home Winning Streak to Three

Midview lost to Olmsted Falls last Tuesday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Middies came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 7-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Middies.

The team relied heavily on Daniel Melendez, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Kaiden Vogelpohl was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Midview's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-14. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Olmsted Falls, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.
