Football Recap: Muldrow's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

Muldrow lost against Checotah back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulldogs fell 21-17 to the Wildcats. The matchup marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Although Muldrow took the loss, they still got scores from Teaguen Collins and DJ Massey.

Checotah found their leader in sophomore Cole Rolland, who rushed for 115 yards and two scores, and also threw for 115 yards and one TD. Those 115 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Rolland.

Having lost for the first time this season, Muldrow fell to 4-1. As for Checotah, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Muldrow didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 23-14 defeat against Idabel on the 10th. As for Checotah, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 35-14 loss against Stigler on the 10th.
