Bell got themselves on the board against Roosevelt on Friday, but Roosevelt never followed suit. They had just enough and edged out the Rough Riders 1-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-1 on Wednesday.

Not much got past Jayden Rojas, who gave up just a hit and racked up 14 Ks to keep Roosevelt off the board. Rojas has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Bell's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Andres Torres, who went 2-for-3 with one double. That's the most hits Torres has posted since back in May of 2025.

The victory made it two in a row for Bell and bumps their season record up to 19-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Roosevelt, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-15.

Bell wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Garfield on the 22nd. As for Roosevelt, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-1 defeat against South East on the 20th.
