Bayside scored the most points they've had this season on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough. The match between them and the Norfolk Collegiate Mighty Oaks didn't end well, with the Bayside Marlins falling 54-35. The loss leaves the Marlins without a win on the season.

Norfolk Collegiate's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kylie Lorson, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. Lorson has been hot recently, having also posted three or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Robin Roelink, who posted eight points in addition to nine rebounds and three steals.

Bayside's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Norfolk Collegiate, they moved to 2-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
