Glens Falls put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Scotia-Glenville Tartans, posting a 48-7 victory. Given the Black Bears' advantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 79th, while the Tartans are ranked 422nd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Glens Falls' win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Scotia-Glenville, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Glens Falls will take on rival Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Black Bears 7.2, the Ravens 10) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Scotia-Glenville is set to face off against their familiar foe Gloversville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
