Recap: Jones County Coyotes vs. White River Tigers
The Jones County Coyotes kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 54-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of White River. Jones County lost against White River in their previous head to head back in March, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 73-44 score last time.
When it comes to explaining why Jones County lost, one person who can't be blamed is Cooper Feddersen. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 24 points and 17 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Bryer Kinsley, who scored 8 points along with 9 rebounds.
Jones County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for White River, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jones County will take on Highmore/Harrold at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for White River, they will be playing at home against Tiospa Zina at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
