Softball Recap: Teague Triumphs

Teague won against Westwood on Friday with 16 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Lions never let the Mexia Black Cats get on the board and left with a 16-0 victory. The Lions have beaten the Black Cats the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Black Cats has come to flipping the script.

Teague's record is now 12-14. As for Mexia, they dropped their record down to 2-17 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home.

Coming up, Teague will head out to face off against Fairfield at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Lions' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Mexia does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
