Volleyball Recap: Orting Takes a Loss

Orting saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Thurston Rams.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-12.

Among those leading the charge was Anna Sheeran, who had six digs and five aces. Those five aces gave her a new career-high.

Orting's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for North Thurston, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Coming up, Orting will head out on the road to take on Washington at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. This will be the Cardinals' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for North Thurston, they have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Bainbridge on the 13th.
