Volleyball Recap: Bountiful Falls Short Against Ranked Skyridge

Bountiful faced Skyridge in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Redhawks came up short against the Falcons, falling 3-0. The Redhawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Estelle Slaney was the offensive standout of the match as she had 12 digs and three aces. Emmie Mahe also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

The loss snapped Bountiful's winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 12-8 record. As for Skyridge, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-2.

Coming up, Bountiful will face off against Viewmont at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Skyridge, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Green Canyon on the 4th.
