Soccer Game Preview: Flanagan vs. St. Thomas Aquinas

Flanagan is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Falcons who were credited with the win. Flanagan got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to South Broward's three. The victory continues a trend for Flanagan in their matchups with South Broward: they've now won six in a row.

St. Thomas Aquinas is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Florida's top teams: Viera, who was ranked 23rd at the time (St. Thomas Aquinas was ranked fifth). The Raiders put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp 4-1 win on Saturday. The result was nothing new for St. Thomas Aquinas, who have now won 11 matches by three goals or more so far this season.

St. Thomas Aquinas' victory bumped their record up to 16-2-1. As for Flanagan, they now have a winning record of 8-7-2.
