St. Johnsbury Academy was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Spaulding on Saturday. The Hilltoppers were the clear victors by a 15-1 margin over the Crimson Tide. That 14 run margin sets a new team best for the Hilltoppers this season.

St. Johnsbury Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Spaulding, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, St. Johnsbury Academy will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Colchester at 4:30 p.m. As for Spaulding, they will square off against Lamoille at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
