Baseball Recap: Carter Comes Up Short

Carter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eisenhower Eagles. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2022.

Carter's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Eisenhower, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-8.

While Carter had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
