Softball Recap: Clarksville Generals vs. Scottsburg Warriors        
        
		
            
 After flying high against Crothersville  last Wednesday, Clarksville came back down to earth. The Clarksville Generals fell  8-4 to the Scottsburg Warriors on Thursday. The  defeat   continues a  trend for Clarksville in their matchups with Scottsburg: they've now lost nine in a row.
  Kaitlin Bishop was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 1-for-2 with a  home run.  Bailey Senior was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
 On Scottsburg's side,  the team  relied heavily on  Kelsey Pinto-Herrera, who  scored two  runs while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Madelyn Ehrhart, who  went 2-for-4 with a  home run and two  RBI.
 Clarksville's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Scottsburg, their victory bumped their record up to 12-5.
 Clarksville will stay at home for another  game and welcome Eastern at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Clarksville is facing Eastern at the right time seeing as Eastern is stuck on  a  six-game losing streak. As for Scottsburg, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Covenant Christian at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Covenant Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5  runs per game  this season.
