Colleyville Heritage managed to slip by Birdville the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Colleyville Heritage Panthers came up short against the Birdville Hawks on Wednesday, falling 10-1. The Panthers' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Colleyville Heritage saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kira Miller, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. That stolen base was Miller's first of the season.

Colleyville Heritage's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8-1. As for Birdville, the win was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-2.

Looking ahead, Colleyville Heritage will face off against Grapevine at 6:00 p.m. on March 28th. As for Birdville, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when Birdville Hawks duke it out with Argyle Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
