Prodigy L simms commands the offense for a Flames win

Recap: Eastern Mennonite Flames vs. St. Michael the Archangel Warriors
There's no place like home for the Eastern Mennonite Flames, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Saturday. They skirted past St. Michael the Archangel 58-56. The victory was just what Eastern Mennonite needed coming off of a 69-49 loss in their prior contest.
Eastern Mennonite's win on Tuesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Prodigy L simms, who scored 21 points along with nine assists and five rebounds. That's the first time this season that L simms posted eight or more assists. Another player making a difference was Shawn Valentine, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and five blocks.
Eastern Mennonite's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-3. As for St. Michael the Archangel, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.
Eastern Mennonite will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Glass at 4:30 p.m. on December 28th. One thing working in Glass' favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six contests. St. Michael the Archangel will be home for the holidays to greet Riverbend at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
