Soccer Game Preview: Bay vs. Long Beach

The Bay Tigers will face off against the Long Beach Bearcats at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Long Beach took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Bay, who comes in off a win.

Bay is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They came out on top against Sacred Heart by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Long Beach didn't have quite enough to beat St. Patrick on Tuesday and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Long Beach have lost by just one goal.

Long Beach now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Bay, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Bay took their victory against Long Beach in their previous matchup back in November of 2024 by a conclusive 5-1 score. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Bearcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
