Football Recap: Collegiate Takes a Loss

Collegiate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 42-8 loss at the hands of Helix Mentorship & Maritime Academy. Collegiate was not able to make up for their defeat to Helix Mentorship & Maritime Academy from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Collegiate's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Helix Mentorship & Maritime Academy, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Collegiate is set to take on their familiar foe Glen Oaks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Helix Mentorship & Maritime Academy will face off against rival University Lab at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
