After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Eagleville, Siegel was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Riverdale Warriors. The Stars haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Siegel can attribute much of their success to Baylor Burnett, who had seven digs and three aces.

Burnett wasn't the only good servers: Siegel was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. The Stars are 10-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Siegel's win bumped their record up to 21-15. As for Riverdale, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-21 record this season.

Siegel wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Blackman on the 4th. Riverdale does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
