Basketball Game Preview: Castle Knights vs. Vincennes Lincoln Alices

The Castle Knights will venture away from home to face off against the Vincennes Lincoln Alices at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Castle will be strutting in after a victory while Vincennes Lincoln will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Tuesday, Castle earned a 57-45 win over Evansville Reitz. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Meanwhile, Vincennes Lincoln was beaten by South Knox 84-52 on Saturday. The Alices haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Castle has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.5 points per game. As for Vincennes Lincoln, their loss dropped their record down to 11-6.

Castle was able to grind out a solid victory over Vincennes Lincoln when the teams last played back in January of 2024, winning 51-43. The rematch might be a little tougher for Castle since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
