Basketball Recap: Earle Comes Up Short

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 62-23, which was the final score in the Earle Bulldogs's tilt against the Pulaski Academy Bruins on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 40th, while the Bruins are ranked eighth).

Earle's loss dropped their record down to 22-6. As for Pulaski Academy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 26-0.

Earle does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pulaski Academy, they will venture away from home to square off against Robinson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for Robinson: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Pulaski Academy has snatched up 16 consecutive wins on the road dating back to last season.
