Softball Recap: Centerville Elks vs. Beavercreek Beavers

There's no place like home for Centerville, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Beavercreek Beavers on Thursday as they made off with a 15-5 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 16-5 last Friday.

Chayse Adkins made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing six innings while giving up five earned runs off eight hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in April.
