Albemarle took a four-goal defeat the last time they faced off against North Rowan, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bulldogs came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cavaliers on Wednesday, sneaking past 3-2. This was payback for Albemarle, who suffered a 5-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

They hit North Rowan with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Nick Yang, Moi Carrillo, and Paul Mendikute.

Albemarle has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those four games. As for North Rowan, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.
