Iola-Scandinavia is a perfect 3-0 against Pittsville since October of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Thunderbirds will head out on the road to take on the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Iola-Scandinavia is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

Iola-Scandinavia's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Edgar on Friday. They took a blow against the Wildcats, falling 55-0. While losing is never fun, the Thunderbirds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked 333rd, while the Wildcats are ranked 44th).

Meanwhile, the third road game was the charm for Pittsville, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They were the clear victors by a 30-6 margin over Assumption on Friday. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Royals recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Pittsville's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Iola-Scandinavia, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-5.

Everything came up roses for Iola-Scandinavia against Pittsville in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 41-6 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Thunderbirds since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
