Basketball Game Preview: University School of Nashville Tigers vs. Franklin Road Academy Panthers

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the University School of Nashville Tigers face off against the Franklin Road Academy Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday... University School of Nashville will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Last Tuesday, University School of Nashville earned a 66-55 victory over Grace Christian Academy.

Meanwhile, Franklin Road Academy came up short against The Webb School on Tuesday and fell 52-43. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 188th, while the Feet are ranked 39th).

University School of Nashville is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season. As for Franklin Road Academy, they dropped their record down to 10-16 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

University School of Nashville beat Franklin Road Academy 58-47 in their previous meeting back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for University School of Nashville since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
