Volleyball Game Preview: Lovelady Lions vs. Iola Bulldogs

Lovelady hasn't had much luck against Iola recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Lions will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m.

It was a proper cat-fight when Lovelady challenged Leon on Friday. The Lions lost 3-0 to the Cougars.

Meanwhile, Iola got the win against Normangee on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

Iola is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-5 record this season. As for Lovelady, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-18.

Lovelady might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Iola in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Lions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
