Football Recap: Goffstown Comes Up Short

Goffstown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. The contest between the Grizzlies and the Timberlane Owls didn't end well, with the Grizzlies falling 29-14. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Grizzlies of the 42-13 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2022.

Goffstown's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Timberlane, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Looking ahead, Goffstown will venture away from home to take on Concord at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Timberlane, they will welcome Alvirne at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Owls will be up against the Broncos' rather soft defense (which has allowed 37.83 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
