Soccer Recap: Galesburg Christian Comes Up Short

After soaring to five goals the game before, Galesburg Christian was a bit more limited in their contest on Saturday. They fell just short of the Tri-State Christian Huskies by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Tri-State Christian this season, with their most recent defeat being a 0-0 loss back in April.

Galesburg Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Tri-State Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2.

Galesburg Christian wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Quad Cities Christian on the 10th. As for Tri-State Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 4-0 loss against Faith Christian on the 10th.
