Basketball Recap: Webberville's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Friday

Webberville won the last time they faced Lakeville and things went their way on Friday too. The Webberville Spartans took down the Lakeville Falcons 56-42. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 291st, while the Falcons are ranked 604th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Webberville pushed their record up to 9-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Lakeville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-9.

St. Patrick will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Webberville surely won't give up without a fight. Lakeville has already played their next matchup (against Perry), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
