Basketball Recap: Clio Gets the Win

Lake Fenton came into Friday's contest looking for another win against Clio, but Ellie Neuhaus wouldn't allow it. The Clio Mustangs walked away with a 31-19 win over the Lake Fenton Blue Devils on Friday thanks in part to Neuhaus, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 boards. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Clio's points.

Clio now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Lake Fenton, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clio will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Corunna at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Lake Fenton, they will venture away from home to take on Clarkston at 7:00 p.m. on December 20th.
