Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Silver Lake walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Hillsboro Trojans on Friday as they made off with an 11-1 victory. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by seven runs or more this season.

Silver Lake has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Hillsboro, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-17.

As of now, neither Silver Lake nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
