Keaton Jones Turns in Season-Best Performance

Pendleton Heights was led to victory by Keaton Jones, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Jones rushed for 235 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.4 yards per carry, and also picked up 35 receiving yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 78 yards.

With the win, Pendleton Heights broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5. Jones and Pendleton Heights will head out to face off against Shelbyville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Mt. Vernon Wins Fourth-Straight Thanks to Joliba Brogan II

Joliba Brogan II was instrumental in extending Mt. Vernon's winning streak to four on Friday. Brogan II's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 118 rushing yards.

The win got Mt. Vernon back to even at 4-4. Brogan II and Mt. Vernon will challenge Yorktown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Performance from Cooper Hinton Leads Greenfield-Central over Delta

Cooper Hinton produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Greenfield-Central to the win on Friday. Hinton picked up three sacks and made ten total tackles.

If the past is any indication, Hinton could be in store for another big game when he takes on New Castle on Friday. Hinton picked up a sack, made seven total tackles (3.0 for loss), and defended two passes the last time he and the Trojans duked it out back in October of 2023.

Ranes Came Up Big in New Palestine's 44-6 Victory

Josh Ranes was instrumental in extending New Palestine's winning streak to six on Friday. New Castle had no answer to Ranes as he rushed for 137 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.1 yards per carry. Ranes' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 119 rushing yards dating back to last season.

New Palestine's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-0-1. Ranes and New Palestine will challenge Delta at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Dallas Freeman's Big Game Leads Greenfield-Central over Delta

The second Greenfield-Central player making an appearance here is Dallas Freeman, and for good reason. He rushed for 67 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 166 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes.

If the past is any indication, Freeman could be in store for another big game when he takes on New Castle on Friday. When Freeman last faced the Trojans back in October of 2023, he rushed for 134 yards and a touchdown on only five carries, and also threw for 154 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes.
