Weeping Water falls despite strong effort from Riggs Wilson

The Weeping Water Indians's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 43-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of Johnson County Central. Weeping Water has not had much luck with Johnson County Central recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Despite the loss, Weeping Water still got an impressive performance from Riggs Wilson, who scored 18 points.

Weeping Water now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Johnson County Central, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Weeping Water will face off against Brownell Talbot at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Brownell Talbot is on a three-game streak of home losses, Weeping Water a ten-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. As for Johnson County Central, they will head out on the road to face off against Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Tuesday.
