Basketball Recap: Pope John Paul II Takes a Loss

Pope John Paul II was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 39-14 to the Evergreen Lutheran Eagles. Pope John Paul II was probably out for revenge after losing 48-28 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Pope John Paul II's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Evergreen Lutheran, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pope John Paul II will square off against Rainier Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Evergreen Lutheran, they will face off against Summit Classical Christian School at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
