Basketball Recap: Bishop Moore Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Triton Central

There's no place like home for Beech Grove, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They walked away with a 45-37 victory over the Triton Central Tigers on Friday. The Hornets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Beech Grove's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bishop Moore, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten rebounds. Moore is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last four games he's played. Anthony Huff was another key player, putting up ten points and three steals.

When it comes to explaining why Triton Central lost, don't look at Silas Blair. Despite the final result, he to rack up 13 points and seven boards. What's more, Blair posted two steals, the most he's had since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Max Crouse, who had five points and eight assists.

Beech Grove's record now sits at 8-13. As for Triton Central, their record now sits at 12-9.

Beech Grove wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 60-53 defeat against Greenwood on the 22nd. As for Triton Central, they will challenge Speedway at 7:30 p.m. on February 28th. Triton Central is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54 points per game this season.
