Basketball Game Preview: Clear Brook Wolverines vs. Deer Park Deer

The Clear Brook Wolverines will take on the Deer Park Deer at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Friday, Clear Brook was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 42-38 to Dickinson. The Wolverines have struggled against the Gators recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Deer Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 49-38 to Clear Creek.

Clear Brook's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 17-11. As for Deer Park, their loss dropped their record down to 11-15.

Clear Brook skirted past Deer Park 48-45 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Does Clear Brook have another victory up their sleeve, or will Deer Park turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
