University Christian put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Forest Wildcats by a score of 8-3. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Christians also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2023.

Dixie Tessier made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-4. That stolen base marked the first that she snagged this season.

In other batting news, University Christian got a big performance out of Ava Surles, who scored a run while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave Surles a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Sinai Tunsill, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

University Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .526. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Forest only posted an OBP of .300.

University Christian's record is now 11-0. As for Forest, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-7.

University Christian has already played their next contest, an 8-1 loss against Fort Myers on the 28th. As for Forest, they will challenge Creekside at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
