Volleyball Recap: Ubly Picks Up Third Consecutive Win + How To Watch

Ubly had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Capac Chiefs with a sharp 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bearcats also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Ubly was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-7, 25-12.

Ubly found their leader in sophomore Madyson Schumacher, who had eight aces and three digs. Those eight aces set a new season-high mark for Schumacher.

Ubly was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 25 aces. They are a perfect 4-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Ubly's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Capac, they dropped their record down to 1-8-1 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Ubly wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against Portland on the 20th. As for Capac, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Brown City on the 18th.
