Basketball Recap: Culver Community Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

It's playoff time, and Culver Community had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 44-32 victory over the Oregon-Davis Bobcats on Thursday. The win was nothing new for the Cavaliers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Oregon-Davis lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Ashleigh Laster, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 11 boards. That's the most rebounds she has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Trinity Vaszari, who had 12 points.

Culver Community's victory bumped their record up to 16-8. As for Oregon-Davis, their loss dropped their record down to 12-10.

Culver Community didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 29-21 defeat against North Judson-San Pierre on the 7th. Oregon-Davis does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
