Basketball Recap: St. Francis Takes a Loss

After soaring to 68 points the game before, St. Francis was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They had to suffer through a 82-24 loss at the hands of the Lake Country Lutheran Lightning. While losing is never fun, the Mariners can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 432nd, while the Lightning are ranked 111th).

St. Francis' defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Lake Country Lutheran, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

St. Francis will take on Brookfield Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lake Country Lutheran, they will square off against Kenosha Christian Life at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
