West Side extended their postseason success on Friday against Viola. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Longhorns a 12-0 shutout. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matchups by seven runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for West Side and bumps their season record up to 16-6-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 runs in those games. As for Viola, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6.

West Side didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-1 defeat against Taylor on the 16th. Viola does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
