Soccer Game Preview: Hazen vs. Interlake

The Hazen Highlanders will face off against the Interlake Saints at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hazen is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Hazen's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 5-0 margin over Liberty. Hazen's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last six contests.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Interlake). They walked away with a 4-2 victory over Juanita on Thursday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Hazen pushed their record up to 10-0-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three games. As for Interlake, their win bumped their record up to 3-8-1.

Everything went Hazen's way against Interlake in their previous meeting back in March, as Hazen made off with a 5-0 victory. Do the Highlanders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Saints turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
