Volleyball Recap: Elkins Comes Up Short

Elkins lost against Prairie Grove back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Elks fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 3-2. The Elks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Elkins started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 21-25, 18-25, 25-12, 25-11, 16-14.

Elkins' defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Prairie Grove, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-2.

Elkins didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Mansfield on the 23rd. As for Prairie Grove, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Gentry on the 23rd.
