Hillcrest waltzed into their game on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the JW North Huskies. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.

Hillcrest had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-18, 25-9, 25-21.

When it comes to explaining why JW North lost, don't look at Mina Aziz. Despite the final result, he had 16 digs and three assists. Aziz has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last five times he's played.

Hillcrest's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-8. As for JW North, their loss dropped their record down to 5-21.

The future could be bright for both Hillcrest and JW North: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently.
