Basketball Recap: Seven Straight Home Wins for Carver High School of Engineering & Science

Carver High School of Engineering & Science's game on Saturday was all tied up 28-28 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 61-53 victory over Abington Friends. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Carver High School of Engineering & Science's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 38th, while Abington Friends is ranked 151st).

Carver High School of Engineering & Science's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Treyvon Deadrick, who posted 14 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Billy Henighan, who put up 13 points.
