Ray is 7-2 against San Tan Foothills since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Ray Bearcats will host the San Tan Foothills Sabercats at 3:45 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Ray and Hayden had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. Ray fell 6-3 to Hayden on Monday. The Bearcats have struggled against the Lobos recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meetings.

Mia Barajas spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits and racked up nine Ks.

On the hitting side, Kaylee Servant was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for San Tan Foothills' offense. They lost 20-0 to Tanque Verde on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 20 runs in the game before, the Sabercats' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

San Tan Foothills' defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Ray, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Ray took their win against San Tan Foothills in their previous matchup back in March of 2023 by a conclusive 17-7. Will Ray repeat their success, or does San Tan Foothills have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
